About me?
I give thanks to my parents and the amazing foundation they instilled in my life, but I will not be defined by the past. I am amazed by the present, for God is active and moving in my life, my wife’s life and my family’s life, but I will not be constrained by my dimly lit view of the world. I hunger for the future, for it has yet to be written. A future of possibilities. A future that begins with my very next breath!

I have been married for 30+ years to a woman of God, who was, is, and continues to be an answer to prayer. I am blessed to be the father of 8 children. Reflecting upon my life even just up to this point, God has blessed us so amazingly and he has opened so many amazing doors for ministry, service, work, love, and life. I have seen and been apart of God moving in people’s lives from war-torn Angola, Africa to frozen Bethel, Alaska and everything in between. I try not to take my experiences for granted:
When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required (Luke 12:48 NLT)
Amazing sights, amazing people, amazing opportunities, amazing miracles, let me never forget past glories, but let me always remember the race is still in progress. As I continue to run that race at full strength into the future, show me people who need your touch so that they will have a future. A future that begins with my very next breath!

I am blessed. I am broken. My heart aches. We live in a fallen world. A world of sickness. A world where people make wrong choices. Within 3 weeks of each other, I lost a daughter to sickness, I lost another daughter and grandson to a reckless driver. While I know they await me in Heaven, a father should not out live his children. These deaths, this gaping hole in our lives was not in any future that I was expecting. Oh God, I surrender to you. Heal my broken heart. Allow me to use this experience to minister to hurting people.
Whether it is past glories or past hurts, what am i doing for God today? What will I do for God with my next breath? Use me oh Lord, Here am I, send me! (again and again and again!) The fields are ripe, the workers are few. I hunger for the future, for it has yet to be written. A future of possibilities. A future that begins with my very next breath!
